Everything was amazing here, good to service. The mother and son duo running service and the kitchen were fabulous, very kind and attentive. The food was delicious. I had the sweetbreads which were incredible, highly recommend. The frog legs, baked Brie, duck, and desserts were all delicious as well.

I ate here 28 years ago, when I first moved to the Big Island, and hadn’t returned till a week ago. It was my birthday celebration and my kids picked this restaurant. I’m so glad they did. It was great to try a restaurant we don’t frequent. The inside is small, quaint and cozy. Very nicely decorated. I believe only 7-8 seating areas. The menu is a set price which includes your choice of entree, main course and a dessert. We did not pair the wine as we aren’t wine drinkers. I had the escargot for my appetizer. It came on a dish which had indentations for each escargot which were in a butter sauce. Crouton (very dry and crunchy) bread was on top. The escargot were soft and delicious. I dipped my bread in the sauce to soften the texture. Due to a dietary restriction, I only ate one of the croutons and shared the rest. My main course was the filet minoin. It was cooked med/rare with the Cabernet sauce. I asked to substitute rice for the potatoes and there was a side of green beans. Everything was cooked to perfection! My dessert choice was the creme brulee, very good. My family ordered other dishes so we could all take a bite from each other. Two of my favorites were the onion soup and the lavender rabbit. I highly recommend for a special event dining experience.

I had such a lovely experience at this French restaurant. The portions were surprisingly generous, and every dish I tried was rich, flavorful, and so comforting. The service was truly excellent, and made me feel very welcome. One of the highlights for me was when the chef Carolina personally came to my table and offered a taste of a new dish they’re working on. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made the evening feel extra special. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. What a charming hidden gem here on the island. Family owned everyone was wonderful. The chef and her son served us and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend. The real was incredible and the brie was Devine.

We really enjoyed this dinner. French dining that was flavorful & hearty. Not aggressive or stuffy. Menu was fixed price for 3 courses. French onion soup and wedge salad were exquisite. The filet with Cabernet reduction was perfectly cooked. Wine list has great options at tremendous values and the cocktails are delicious.

I read that this place is ranked among the top 10 for the best food, so I decided to try my luck. When I arrived at the building, it looked like a typical establishment from the outside. But once I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. From the music to the decorations, I loved everything about it. Service: The owner is responsible for the wine selection, and the wines here are truly top-notch. The service goes above and beyond. I was also amazed by the paintings inside; it turns out our server painted them himself. These landscapes are simply stunning. p.s. Ask to see the gallery. Lovely I highly recommend everyone to visit this unique establishment. To the owner, I wish continued success and prosperity. Please keep surprising people with your exceptional service and deliciously unique food! LOVELY

My friend was visiting from the mainland, and I decided to take him here. The atmosphere and service was warm and intimate - even learned that the chef and waiter were related!! Her son even painted all the paintings in the restaurant; such talent. While the menu is expensive and there aren't any substitutions, it is worth every penny for such a fine dining experience in Kona. The service, atmosphere and quality of food is unmatched. I ordered the Lobster Bisque, Filet with Bearnaise and chocolate Pot de Creme. My buddy ordered the Caesar, Veal and Profiterole. We had nibbles off each other's plates because all of it was delicious. Both the bisque and the veal were our absolute favorites. Chef Cindy is such a sincere, hardworking chef and it shows in every single bite. I enjoyed chatting with her between courses, and relished her choices in execution, plating, and flavor. If you are looking to be transported off the island and straight to provencial Paris, or want to really wow someone special in your life, here is where to do it. I will be back!

Had a wonderful night here. The owner was so attentive, kind and knowledgeable about her craft. The baked brie was incredibly flavorful and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked with au poivre sauce. I do wanna highlight the wine collection here is diverse and reasonably priced. I'll definitely come back the next time when I'm on the big island.
